The pattern gives details for raised or flat flower granny squares, which are then joined together to form a yoke, with the body and sleeves then worked from the yoke. HOOK:
Childrens: 3mm hook for 4ply, 4mm hook for DK
Womens: 4mm hook
YARN:
Childrens: The instructions work for both 4ply and DK yarn, as you are working until you reach a given size, rather than stitch count. Quantities for 4ply and Dk yarns are given separately below, and a 4ply garment will be much lighter weight than DK.
Womens: DK Yarn (we recommend Drops Muskat Cotton)
YARN QUANTITIES:
Childrens: 4ply: 50g balls 3(4, 4) plus colours. If you are using 4-6 colours, you will need 1 ball each colour.
Womens: DK: 50g balls 10 (11, 13, 15), plus colours. If you are using 4-6 colours, you will need 1 (2, 2, 2)balls each colour.
DK: 50g balls (4, 5, 5), plus colours. If you are using 4-6 colours, you will need 1 (1, 2) balls each colour.
